The Cat Ear helmet diffuser became famous and synonyms with the peak era of the nirin-hashiriya (Japanese motorcycle street racing). Originally fitted to Arai and Shoei helmets, these aggressive, aerodynamic additions were a defining visual staple among the teams and riders who populated the touge and were frequently photographed in Hashiriya magazines such as Bari Bari Machine.
For years, these diffusers have been incredibly hard to obtain outside of Japan, sold by companies who do not ship outside of Japan and out of stock in the stores that do. Now, through our exclusive partnership with Hashiriya Pride Racing, we are finally making these legendary pieces accessible to the US market.
Era-Correct Design: Molded to replicate the exact aggressive styling of the classic 90s street racer aesthetic.
Arai & Shoei Compatible: Specifically engineered to fit seamlessly onto your Japanese helmet shell.
Direct US Availability: Authentic Hashiriya style, shipped directly to your door without the overseas hassle.
Import Zoku was founded to help keep the raw, authentic spirit of Japanese motorcycle street racing alive and bring this style to the US. Curating Hashiriya apparel and importing hard to find lifestyle goods, we bridge the gap between Japan‘s underground street racing scene and the modern American rider. Import Zoku is not just a webstore, it was founded by active members of the Hashiriya community.
